Halloween has become increasingly mellow since my college days in Santa Barbara. I recall one year in Isla Vista celebrating the holiday over 5 nights with 5 costume changes and enough jungle juice to fill an Olympic sized swimming pool. As it is still an anticipated holiday for me, this year I was unfortunately unprepared when halloween arrived. I toyed with the idea of repeating my Penny Lane outfit, but last minute was able to scour through clothes and accessories from my closet to morph into a cave woman for the evening. I ended up having a great time with some good friends although I intend to make it a goal of mine to put a little more effort in for Halloween 2011.
