While my second day up at the lake should have consisted of getting up early & skiing . . . it didn't. Instead, we decided to hit up the Ice Bar at Alpine Meadows for some aprés brunch brews and enjoy the spring-like day in the sun! The good news is that we successfully skied the following day meaning no major injuries, only minor collisions amongst each other and plenty of laughs. I can't help my have a perma smile on my face when I'm up in Tahoe spending time with friends! To me, it is the happiest place on earth :) *Scroll down to enter my giveaway!

Tahoe In Twilight Mode

I just got back from a little visit to Tahoe and I'm already looking forward to my next trip up! I only have a few weeks until school starts so I'm taking full advantage of my ability to "check out" of real life and enjoy time with my friends! The first night I arrived we dined at Jake's on the Lake followed by a night cap {or two} at the local little dive down the street. We sported our fur vests like it was no body's business and at one point, I piled them all on. Over dressing for the occasion is a little game we like to play. 

Take My Breath Away

The beauty of Lake Tahoe takes my breath away each and every time I visit. Even having lived there for an extend period of time, I still can't believe such a gorgeous place exists and lucky for me it is just a few short hours away. Whether it be summer or winter, the smell of the pine tree's, the warmth of the people and the cozy booths at my favorite little dive bars are just a few of the reasons why it's my favorite place to escape. I came across these photos taken a few years back while I was on a little hike with my family and thought they were too amazing not to share. I'm heading up early tomorrow morning and look forward to a few days of skiing, aprés skiing, watching amazing sunsets & running into familiar faces around town! :) 

Idolizing Cameron Silver

This week I was unbelievably busy as I was working with a new client getting her outfitted for a weekend in LA where she will be dining at movie stars houses and attending fancy events around the town! It wasn't until last night that I was able to unwind and enjoy a dinner date with a friend at Pintoh in Berkeley for some Phó {yumz} & a screening of Blue Valentine {a MUST see}! That being said, I have had zero time to update my silly little blog. Thanks to Lindsay {Gilt Groupe's SF PR gal} for sending over this video, I now have something to share & send you off into the weekend with! I idolize Cameron Silver for his impeccable taste and role of dressing Hollywood Royalty, my dream job. Watch this video for some great tips from the man who "brought glamour back to the red carpet".

A Peek Inside My Pocketbook

To a man, a woman's purse is a mysterious dungeon. If my dad, brother or male friend ever ask for something that's inside my bag, never fail they will bring the entire purse over in fear that if they reach inside their fingers will be chopped off by some sort of trap. There is an aura of taboo when it comes to a closed handbag because the depths of a woman's purse is indeed personal, although what you may find inside a ladies bag might be disappointingly less exiting than what was imagined.
