If all the rain drops were sugar plums and gum drops, oh what a rain that would be

I couldn't think of a better way to spend the day than over indulging in tasty treats at the Ferry Building during a torrential downpour. We started at the Slanted Door for a late lunch and tasted our way through the entire building, stopping for samples of truffled cheese, olive oil and Blue Bottle espresso. Our last stop was at Miette for some French macaroons, and the sweet taste is still lingering in my mouth.
Happy, happy, joy, joy, it's Friday! xx

How cute is my mom in the new sun hat she purchased for her trip to Turks & Caicos?

Until The End Of Time

CMF 2/23/1986 - 3/3/2011 Rest In Peace  Forever In Our Hearts

I spent this past weekend in San Diego to celebrate a friend who's life ended too soon. Although the reason for the trip was under extreme somber circumstances, I was so happy to be a part of a gathering where we could give each other an outpour of love and support. I was surrounded by old and new friends who all  shared one thing in common, the anguish of losing a beautiful soul. Charlie lived his life full of passion. He loved his family, friends, fiancĂ©, and we all loved him back even more. I know he's surfing the waves up there in heaven, guarding and shining his light down on all of us. He's the best watch dog anyone could ever ask for.

'Until The End Of Time'

Find your passion and live your life full of it. Love your family, your friends, and tell them that you love them every opportunity you have.

The Fields of Love

Last night I spent the evening with my recently engaged friend, Kristina. There is nothing that I don't love about a party, so naturally, when we are together the conversation turns into wedding planning almost instantly. As we were thinking up ideas and searching inspirational images for her nuptials in August, I came across these photos I had taken at a friends wedding a few years back. Enter, Anya + Charlie. An outdoor-loving, creative duo who tied the knot in the beautiful fields of the Nordic center in Lake Tahoe, Ca. Anya + Charlie's wedding is definitely the most unique and unforgettable wedding I have ever attended {substituting flowers for over sized carnival balloons, how clever is that!} and it made for some amazing photos that truly belong in a wedding magazine.
